A complaint against 22 years old husband Deependra Das of Sabaila Municipality-1 Khariyani has been lodged at District Police Office of Dhanusha on April 23 on charge of killing 18 years old wife Anjali Das.

The victim’s party have accused him of killing Anjali on April April 20 after finding out that she is pregnant with a baby girl during pregnancy test. SP Chakra Bahadur Singh of DPO said that an FIR has been lodged against the accused by the victim’s uncle Jibach Das.

The deceased Anjali was six months pregnant and her husband did a pregnancy (Gender) test and find out that she is pregnant with a baby girl. The accused in an inebriated state intimidated the victim to death according to victim’s brother. She was living with her family since one month.

As per the plan, the accused had taken the victim with him from her parental home on April 19 with the intention to kill her. On a same day, she was killed according to the victim’s brother Pradeep.

The victim was said to have committed suicide however she sustained several bruises over her body leading the incident very suspicious. The victim’s family said that she was killed by her husband.

According to SP Chakra Bahadur Singh, the incident is being investigated . The accused is at large immediately after the incident according to police.
